For many years Stephan Eicher worked on this reissue. At the end of 1979 drummer Marco Repetto and bassist Christian Trüssel (known as GT) where looking for a new musical direction, they teamed up in with Stephan's brother Martin Eicher (guitar/vocals), who had already supported them on the Glueams single "Mental". They played their first gig as GRAUZONE at the Spex club in Bern early March 1980. Stephan Eicher (guitar) and Claudine Chirac (sax) later completed the group during live performances and recordings. GRAUZONE became the most important Swiss Wave band and their music inspires still young musicans all over the world until today.
This Box Set includes:
- Grauzone Double vinyl album Reissue - Limited Gatefold/180g version
(The original album from 1981 + ALL additional songs from Grauzone's discography), sourced from the original reels.
- Grauzone Live LP recorded on April 12, 1980 at Gaskessel, Bern, Switzerland.
- 80 page Fanzine (Winner of the most beautiful books of Switzerland in 2022)
"The history of Grauzone" writen by Lurker Grand, includes never-seen images. Additional artist contributions by Christian Marclay, Genesis P-Orridge, Sylvie Fleury, John Armleder, Maurizio Cattelan and many more.
- Grauzone poster (60x90cm) replica of Spex (Bern) concert flyer (October 25, 1980 designed by Marco Repetto).
- Grauzone discography.
- 180gram vinyls.
